THE BASICS
My name is Soad Tabrizi, and I am a licensed marriage and family therapist. I hold certifications as an integrative mental health professional, addiction specialist, and suicidologist. With 15 years of experience in the field of mental health, I operate a telehealth private practice, primarily treating adult individuals who are C-level corporate executives and public figures.
THE BACKGROUND
I graduated from Western Seminary, where I obtained my Masters in Marital and Family Therapy. My internship hours involved working with individuals in the criminal justice system, hospitals, agencies, and schools. I started my private practice shortly thereafter.

Since receiving my license in 2014, I've worked with a wide range of individuals, families, couples, adolescents, addicts, codependents, geriatrics, students, and inmates. My private practice is now 100% Telehealth. I am licensed in California, Florida, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, Texas, Utah, and Virginia. However, I provide counseling sessions to anyone in the world.

I am known for my direct, to-the-point approach to treatment. I provide a clear path to help individuals determine their values and guide them to walk in harmony with them. Aligning you with your beliefs is the core of every session. My approach is genuine and authentic—I'm not known to sugarcoat. I also bring a level of compassion and empathy that provides comfort and reassurance that my goal for you is to be well. My practice is predominantly with high-level executives and high profile individuals; however, I treat a wide array of adult individuals seeking help.
I am physically located in Orange County, CA. I love my work. I love what I do. I love being a light and guide for those who want it.
REALITY BASED TREATMENT
I understand that the latest trends and social justice demands can drive people to seek treatment. Here in this space, all ideas are welcomed; however, the foundation in which treatment begins is based on reality and truth. Feelings are fleeting, but actual facts and truth are impenetrable. Sessions are built from facts and we explore how your feelings can exist within the frame work of our reality.
A Word About Me
It can be difficult trusting a complete stranger with your values and beliefs. Seeking treatment is scary and one of the most vulnerable things a person can do. At times, it helps knowing a Therapist's beliefs to help you feel more at ease with sharing - it removes a layer of anxiety at the onset. Because of this, I have listed for you a few of my beliefs that are prudent to today's culture.

Please note: if you do not agree or hold the same beliefs, it does not mean I won't accept you, work with you or respect your beliefs. These are listed merely to help those individuals that have been harmed by other Therapists for their beliefs and/or are afraid that their Therapist might unfairly judge them.

Always seek treatment from the person you feel connected to, not just based off a recommendation.
